Formlabs' Form 4B


Formlabs has introduced the Form 4B, equipped with custom LCD technology, which increases printing speed, offers faster resin refilling, and produces 63% less plastic waste. It promises to complete most dental prints within 30-40 minutes, greatly improving on the speeds of previous models. The printer is priced at $4,967, or $7,899 with an additional setup that includes wash and cure units.




SprintRay Inc. New 3D Printers


SprintRay has introduced the SprintRay Pro 2, with a new 385 nm light engine, and the SprintRay Midas, which introduces a revolutionary cartridge system supporting high-viscosity resins with up to 70% ceramic filler, each priced at $9,995. These printers offer enhanced resolution, enabling rapid production of dental restorations and significantly speeding up chair-side restoration processes, while expanding the potential for complex material use in dental practices.




Strategic Partnership Between SprintRay and Ivoclar


SprintRay announced a partnership with Ivoclar, aiming to enhance the capabilities of resin-based 3D printing in dentistry. This collaboration combines SprintRay's innovative 3D printing technology with Ivoclar’s expertise in dental materials.




Expansion of Flexcera Resins on Asiga 3D Printers


Desktop Health has expanded the use of its FDA 510(k) cleared Flexcera nanoceramic resins to Asiga's dental 3D printers, broadening access across the U.S., U.K., EEA, and Canada. This move taps into the rapidly growing dental 3D printing market, projected to reach $8.1 billion by 2029, driven by demand for cosmetic and functional dental solutions, according to company insights.




EvoDent 3D Dental 3D Printing Solutions


EvoDent, a member of UnionTech GmbH, was highlighted in the media for its E Series models (E128, E230) and the new, fully automated D300. These 3D printers offer chairside customizations and mass production capabilities for dental clinics and labs. The E128 model excels in chairside printing, while the E230 and D300 provide larger format printing suitable for a broad range of dental applications with advanced temperature control and high precision.
